The view of Ala Wai Canal is breathtaking. I gave the children the bedroom and never closed the curtains to the view. You are perfectly situated to multiple beaches but we too Lyft to Dukes Statute at Waikiki. It is a 4 minute ride, $7 bucks and everything you need once you get to Dukes Statute is walking distance. We had a car but there is only hotel parking near the WAIKIKI beaches. The complex is secure and the kids hit the pool nightly. There is an ABC (Aloha Brings Customers) store at the end of the block and a 7-11. We got kid floaties, goggles, snorkel gear at the ABC Store, snacks and beverages for the beach and had the store inflate the floaties for the kids. Get reservations at Sansei Sushi and hit it after one of your beach days in WAIKIKI (There are 8 WAIKIKI beaches. We enjoyed the two with the sea walls.) You have to pay for beach chairs and umbrella at the beach so bring the umbrella from the condo to save yourself the rental fee. You are close enough to WAIKIKI to get an authentic experience but out of the absolute malee of traffic and congestion. There is a parking space and we used our car a lot for our day trip to the North Shore (Halawei and Turtle Bay-55 minute drive, start early), to the Bishop Museum and Planetarium and the other beaches on Oahu. Do not waste your money on trips to Pearl Harbor and Diamond Head, they are easy drives, cheap parking and if you go on your own, you get unlimited time to explore. The tours add nothing to the experience and limit your time at Pearl Harbor and Diamond Head. Save your money. You can do each on your home and at a more leisurely pace. We wasted money on tours because we thought it was more complicated and we felt rushed. The kids wanted to see a couple movies while we were there and we hit Consolidated Theaters which turned 100 while we were there. We left our laundry card and everyone does...party on, it's loaded. My kids loved 7-11 runs for treats but Google and hit Foodland on your way to the condo and don't miss the Poke Bar. Every grocery store has a Poke Bar and the Shrimp Poke is amazing. We purchased and left disposable plates, bowls and cutlery because who wants to do dishes on vacation. At the end of the day my 8 year old would sit quietly on the balcony staring at the view and we spent every night staring at the view. The beds are comfy and there is plenty of bedding and towels. Zaneta is great. Be patient when you arrive because it is a hunt to find the correct lock box (There are tons). For the lower level, The small black button on the remote opens the lower level. There is a flat metal pass key that you must use to enter and for the elevator to go to your floor. We would go back tomorrow. It was just amazing.
This condo is in an awesome location in Honolulu! It is well appointed and clean. However, the traffic noise is a bit bothersome at night. Secured parking with a designated space is very convenient and a definite plus! We would stay here again!
The condo was in a great location and had all that we needed for our stay in Waikiki. It was close to shops, dining and the beach and the view from the lanai was wonderful. It was clean and comfortable and the only negative is the overnight street noise.
We loved this place! We stayed here twice. First stay was 2 weeks and the second was almost 3 weeks. This place has everything you might need. The parking was also a huge plus:) once you get past the ala wai street noise it's all good. I would definitely stay here again. You cannot beat the price!!!!! Guarantee
Our stay at this condo was excellent. Nice accommodation in a convenient Waikiki location, but away from the crowded areas. Walking distance to small groceries for supplies as well as numerous restaurants. The garage parking was a huge benefit. Nice view from the lanai towards the mountains. The condo is very comfortable and has a good kitchen area. Some traffic noise, but didn't bother us that much. Highly recommend this property as an alternative to higher priced hotels.
