I stayed her with a block of other guests as part of a family event.
The building is in a strange location; it is on the campus of a psychiatric center. The nearby neighborhood is kind of sketchy but nicer spots are not too far either.
The rooms are large and the building is architecturally interesting. Unfortunately, the hallways are wide and very noisy. It is hard to get a good nights sleep with all the noise in the hallways.
The real problem was that I returned the next day after checking in in the afternoon after having Ben at a family event in the morning. When I got to my room, it would not open so I went to the front desk where they informed me that I was only supposed to be there for one night. There’s no way I would’ve made a reservation for only one night, since the family event was going through the whole weekend. Be it as it may, they told me that the hotel was going to be full that night and I had until 3 o’clock to get out of the room. They made no effort to try to find another place for me to be. They made no apologies about any possible misunderstanding. And I found myself having to scramble to find a place to stay that night. By the way, when I checked in, they never asked how many nights I was staying. If they had asked that simple question I would’ve found another place so that I didn’t have to switch in the middle.
There are lots of places to stay in Buffalo, this would not be one of them I would recommend.
