Came in late on the train from Washington so I was happy to have this room ready for me at 11pm at night. I had a 10th floor king bed room near the north stairwell which was roomy enough and pleasant to stay in. Good blackout curtains and a nice bathroom, wonderful A/C and a roomy closet.
TV is acceptable enough, channel selection was fine, though I was disappointed that I couldn't hook up my Apple TV to it because of a prompt-based wi-fi terms screen. Other than that, wi-fi did work very well when I needed it.
Night staff was very pleasant to deal with and I asked at check-in if I would be able to stay a couple of extra hours and they told me it would be okay without charge due to it being a low check-in Tuesday...but then had to leave a half-hour after check-out time despite that promise because the morning/afternoon staff overruled them with a threat of an extra half-day charge because they deemed it actually 'busy'. It included a call on my room phone to urge me out, which was completely unneeded. So communication could be improved there.
As a non-smoker, I should note that the hotel is very aggressive about their no smoking policy, with a large fee if they sense there was smoking in your room, both of the cigarette and that other smokable plant variety. Good for us non-smokers for sure as it assures you few will violate THAT rule.
Besides that, which knocks off a dot for me, I was happy with my stay overall.
