I wish they had a dominoes tournament will probably bring more business especially located in a good area of Springfield, if the prizes are right I’ll will bring customers just because I want Springfield to be a good town especially for people outta town

Springfield is the place everyone has driven thru, but very few have been to.
That has all changed with the addition of the MGM. Block by block you see the changes and impact it has. New and refurbished buildings, new spots to eat and shop.
Even if you don't gamble its a great spot for a drink or grab something to eat as you explore the city.

Traveled up from Ct to stay the night for the BigE. Perfect. By the way this was last year before all this Corona crap. Anyway they offered buses over to the Big E which was awesome. We walked the casino and stayed the night both were comfortable. I will are all in our 50s and pretty much look at least in our 40s the constant check in the casino is a bit crazy since we all had drinks in our hand, but we survived. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. But as usual hotels that offer something that people want this goes for the two Ct casinos the hammer ya when it comes to room. So this year if the Big E does happen we may be looking for a hotel down the road. No offense but $300 to $400 bucks is a bit much for one night. I will say it was a nice place though.
Do not stay here..in my opinion they don’t the highly trained security they say they have for such a high crime area. My partner was brutally attacked inside..they mislead us in feeling safe to go there..stay away from this place
Stayed at mgm hotel on the 10 th of March 2020 the hotel was great no problems at all. Was in casino for hours walked by security more times than I could say talked to a woman from security she was reading my tee shirt tell me she liked it she was wonderful. Went to spin the big wheel with my sister and was at back side of wheel the gentalman let us know he had 22 spins so we went to front of wheel and spun when done was going back to play but was stopped by security the same man we had walked by I don't know how many time he asked for ids we asked why and told him he just watched us spin the wheel he said and insisted we show him ids my sister had hers mine was in hotel room he then said you can leave I said no I have walked by u a number of times and now u stop me we asked to speak with his boss he said do u really want that and called someone over the kid that showed up said no on the floor go to ur room and get ur id so we started to the room being followed. We are two woman in our 50 being intimidated by more than one security guard walking to hotel to Waite for me to go to my room and come back. So I go to my room and go back down now there are three guards are you kidding me. I will never stay in a establishment where there is no control over security. I have security at my business and would fire anyone that tries to intimidate anyone. I hope manager of mgm trains his people and let's them know you can't bully people very bad for business.
