We didn't need to bring anything but our clothes and food. Everything you need for a weekend away from it all was there, including an amazing view of the Skyline-drive mountains, a fire pit, a bbq grill, hot tub....
Three bedrooms (including one master) and two bathrooms, very comfortably accommodated our group of 5.
The drive up to the cabin is a little steep and windy at times--as you would expect from a mountain-side cabin. But it was only about a 20 minute drive to Luray and we enjoyed our visit to the Luray Caverns and car & carriage museum and enjoyed a wonderful meal out at the Moonshadows restaurant in the town.
Highly recommended for a peaceful and scenic getaway.
This was a wonderful cabin near Luray and Shenandoah National Park. The cabin is very clean and as advertised. The previous review is correct the view is gorgeous. What a view towards the park watching clouds or star gazing. Is a ways on a gravel road but you will get use to it after a few trips into town. The drive way at the end is paved but a little bit steep. There are a few stick bugs but that is typical for any cabin in Virginia. The kitchen is well stocked and cozy. Great for a few quests but only so many can fit in at one time. My only suggestion would be to spend a few dollars on the stove’s burner covers. Overall, I would go back very nice.
