So beautiful and well maintained! Wish we had had a more informative guide but it was still interesting. Recommend!

We took the bus from downtown to the Mission and it was really easy. It is pretty large and they have a lot of exhibits. It is beautiful there. We had a 3 and 1 year old and we took our time letting them look at things. Many things are still intact like the church and grist mill. It was nice to get out of the city for a bit.
Our first visit to a mission... didn't know what a mission was before this. It was very nice. Great photo opps.
The visitors center has an excellent video. A good way to begin your visit. The grounds and facilities are clean and kept up. The history of the missions provides significant insight to the "early" development of the Texas culture. Great for families.
San Jose lived up to its name. It was beautifully restored. We also enjoyed exploring the entire site
