Cool experience and something that you have to do while visiting San Antonio. Just ignore the strong smell of urine.
Overall its pretty cool. Good environment for family, kids, and work events. The rock walkway and bridges are unique and something to see for sure.
Fun areas with lots of options for eating and drinking. We visited multiple times during our stay when we were in town for the Final Four 2018. Based on the event, I'm guessing more crowded than usual, but the area had a fun energy. The boats on the river are beautiful at night. If you're looking for a lively spot for dinner, or just to sit and people watch this is a great spot. I'd suggest staying away from the Riverwalk Mall part of the Riverwalk - it doesn't offer any charm or authenticity. Restaurants in that area are Hooters, Chili's and Taco Bell. Head in the direction of Rita's and the other local spots for a more authentic and more enjoyable experience.
The Riverwalk is San Antonio’s downtown main attraction. Most eateries and hotels border it. It is safe day and night. Worth the visit!
First time on the River Walk while In town for the final four. Really cool area with numerous hotels, great outside dining and plenty of areas to relax and have a drink.
A beautiful route to spend some time here. There are history buildings, special restaurants and boats shows up from time to time.
