I enjoyed my walk through. Although I didn’t have children with me I was very impressed with the children’s activities they offered. If you are in Salem with children this is a must!

Went to the PEM for the visiting Georgia O’Keefe exhibit.

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The museum has many different areas to explore, is fully accessible and beautifully curated.

Will definitely visit again.

First experienced this museum, prior to renovation, as a kid growing up nearby: an incredible Tolkien-esque rabbit warren of dusty cases and displays, crammed with the booty brought back from the Pacific and Orient by Salem's clipper and whaling captains. Now an excellent destination spot for fans of history, global culture, regional history, and still for kids!

We made the trip from Boston to see the Georgia O'Keefe exhibit and we were not disappointed. More than a collection of her art, it also focused on her life, exhibited her clothing, and information about where she lived. The exhibit was popular and was a bit tight with all the people, but as it neared closing time it thinned out. They had seating areas in the exhibit with magazine articles about her life, art, and homes. I had never seen an exhibit where I learned so much about an artist.
There was a nearby parking garage that was very inexpensive. It exits into a mall which was very confusing to navigate, but shopkeepers were helpful with directions.

We went down for the Georgia O’Keefe exhibit and were not dissatisfied by any means! The collection on display of her clothing she made and her paintings as well as the photographs taken by her husband was incredible! If you plan to go it ends April 1 so make a plan soon, it is worth it!There were so many excellent art installations I want to go again!I also want to go back when it is warmer to walk the city of Salem and see more historical sites! Our tour guide was fabulous and made it even better!
