Great property. Friendly people. Awesome breakfast. Cowboys delight room was very nice with great deck. Champagne and chocolates were a nice touch. Easy check in and check out. Loved hiking up the mountain behind the property for some great views. Saw Elk and deer on property. Caught some nice trout in the river there on property as well. Loved it and will go again!!

This inn exceeded every expectation we had! Beautiful location on a rushing river; various wildlife (bear, coyote) and elk grazing next to our room. Service on a par with the highest level of hotel. Superb breakfasts that even my picky husband ate. And served so beautifully they could be put in a Bon Appetit magazine. I highly recommend this Inn and we will be back the next time we get to Colorado.

Stayed in the Meadow Bright room. Best B&B experience ever. Started the evening off with a hike up a trail, and found a hammock at the top of the trail. It was beautiful watching the lights come on down by the river below. The switchbacks on the trail were fun, and there were plenty of built-in stone benches to rest, especially for guests from lower altitudes that might need more oxygen!

We didn't think we could top that experience, but found the giant soaking tub situated next to a beautiful fireplace was even better. The fireplace was well stocked with wood and starter, it made me look like a pro when it came to starting the fire. The bubbles in the tub came up to our chins. The water temperature was super, and we never ran out of hot water even though we must have sat in it, unwilling to move, for what seemed like days. The shower and tub were all surrounded with river rock. We had a delightful and rejuvenating sleep on the queen bed. I found the mattress to be perfect, but some might find it a wee bit too firm.

Breakfast was amazing, with a baked pear starter that tasted heavenly. The following course of waffles, kiwi, grapes, and eggs were delightful. The coffee and OJ tasted delicious. It was hard to wipe the smile off of our faces for weeks. In fact, a month later, I am still smiling.

Thanks Romantic RiverSong for a wonderful place to spend a delightful evening!

Room Tip: Get the Medow Bright room if you can.

My wife and I stayed here during 3-7 June 2018. Riversong was absolutely wonderful. The main lodge house, our room (Morning Glory) and the 26 acre property made for a great experience. I enjoyed getting up early (6 am) and strolling along the Big Thompson enjoying the rapidly flowing water cascade over the rocks. I occasionally saw a couple of mule deer and an elk that seemed to be frequent visitors.

The breakfasts turned out to be amazing creations. Each morning began with a fruit creation and a hearty main course. Each breakfast was different and tasty. Great beginning to the day ahead.

Each member of the staff was a fountain of information about places to go and things to see and do. We could not have had a better experience. Should we ever get to the Estes Park area from our home outside New Orleans, we'll gladly make reservations here.

I highly recommend this lovely place! The location, room, amenities, and staff were all absolutely wonderful. It was peaceful and relaxing, but a quick drive to downtown if you want to spend some time shopping. We are already planning to return!
