We stayed in the Suite Studio-King, Heart Jetted Tub room. The online pictures don’t do it justice. It looked like a small room but when we opened the door, we were happily surprised! Everything in the room was super clean and well maintained. The Inn feels secluded and has beautiful Mountain View’s. The grounds are very nice to walk around in, they even light campfires at night. It’s even within walking distance of downtown so you don’t have to worry about parking. Out of all the places to stay, you will not be disappointed at all with this place. Highly recommend, would stay again!

My husband and I took a quick getaway from Virginia to explore Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park. We had booked two nights in advance at Appenzell Inn and we had a great experience. We walked in to freshly made pop corn and a smiling desk clerk. Over the course of two days we met Jordan and Alexander and sweet Jared. They were very polite and quick to take care of our needs. There was always hot tea, coffee, hot cocoa and snacks in the lobby. Our room was super clean. We had everything we needed and had an amazing view of the Rockies. The bed was so soft and swallowed us up. We slept great. At night, provisions are there for s’mores. We took our bottle of wine to the fire pit and met some really nice folks from Florida, NY and Louisiana. We talked and relaxed around the campfire for several hours. The town of Estes Park is amazing. We walked the Riverwalk and shopped and ate great food. We drove all over Rocky Mtn National Park ($35 for a one week pass) and saw Elk,mule deer, coyote, pikas, a crazy black squirrel with tufted ears, marmot, and more. Every view begged to be photographed. Highly recommend the alpine trail that goes all the way to he tundra. Take a jacket! 20 degrees colder at the top. Enjoy.

What a fun place to stay! The staff is very friendly. The room was smallish, but it had everything and more that we needed -- love seat in front of a gas fireplace, multi-person tub with shower, and wonderful king bed. The price is right, especially for Estes Park. I recommend this property to anyone.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room (#6) was immaculate and ready for us. The room was romantic and quiet. Heart shaped tub was fun and therapeutic after long days hiking. Close to downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.
