Booked a king room for $400 (or so). The room was very, very small: not enough for a chair, full size desk or full size closet. We couldn't even walk past each other between the bed and half-size desk. I have seen rooms this small before in old Parisian or Roman hotels, but what is bizarre is that this is a new construction. What was the architect thinking? There is plenty of space around the building that they could easily have added the space to each room to make it comfortable. There is much that management can do to fix this issue. It is what it is...
Also, the room is not entirely clean. I had to dust off drawer with a towel when I got in. Insulation is not great. And, it's lacking slippers, bathrobes, etc that one would expect at this price point. (Perhaps, there is no room to put slippers or bathrobes...).
I enjoyed Estes Park and plan to return. Need to find another place to say though. Thing is is that it's not obvious where I can find a great place to stay.More
