Great hot breakfast with a very reasonable room rate. Close to Old Town and the BioPark. Easy access to highways and airport as well.
Clean rooms and friendly staff. Would stay here again when I visit.
We were so busy during our stay that we didn’t have time to use the pool.

I stayed at the Econo Lodge Old Town for 13 days and found it to be very comfortable and clean and hospitable. The room had a hair dryer, microwave and refrigerator. It was easy walking distance from Old Town, the BoPark, and many good restaurants. The people working at the desk were always friendly and helpful.

This hotel was in such a convenient location. Within walking distance of Old Town and the ABQ Biopark (zoo, aquarium, and botanical garden). Easy to Uber and Lyft from as well. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. Complimentary hot breakfast served daily and was actually really good. Soup and chips served in the afternoon until 9:00pm. Pool and hot tub were great. Rooms were clean and housekeeping did a great job. Fridge and microwave in the room. The only critique I had were there seemed to be a lot of homeless people hanging out on the property at night. One knocked on our door at 3:30am one night and when we checked out early, one was sitting on a couch like thing in the hallway asking to go in our room for a shower. Would definitely stay here again if we were in Albuquerque for the convenience, price, and cleanliness of the place.

I spent a few days around Old Town, and was glad that I chose this hotel. It was spotlessly clean and the staff was excellent. The breakfast bar for the most part seemed homemade and there is a pot of traditional Mexican soup on hand for most of the later part of the day (also homemade).

This is not an elegant motel, but you don't pay for that. For the money, it was the best value in Old Town by far, and its location makes for a 5 minute walk into the Old City and the many shops and restaurants there. I checked out several other hotels in the area and although they were more elegant and had better decor, the commensurate value was not there for them huge increase in the price they charged.

I was very pleased. I met the owner/manager, and it was clear that he was passionate about offering the best value for the money, and he delivered in that regard. It appears as though the rooms recently were upgraded (new wood pergo type floors--very nice), and although not huge like many newer motels offer, they were very comfortable.

I would be happy to stay here again. I rested easy and left refreshed when heading out on business in Old Town.
