The room was comfortable, the grounds as noted are beautiful and the service was helpful. We stayed July 4th, the hotel wasn't busy, but we were able to view many fireworks including the big show through our room window.

Room Tip: rooms facing south have patios

We stayed here for the first time in July on our way to Taos. The hotel is very lovely and the grounds are beautiful. Loved the Chapel too. While we didn't get to use the pool, we did check it out after dinner. Very nice, even at night....beautiful landscaping. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had dinner in hotel restaurant and the food was amazing!! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful as well. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. We stayed in a Junior Suite with balcony and saw six hot air balloons the next morning from our balcony. The only thing I would suggest is to put a couple of small chairs on the balconies for sitting.

We spent two nights at the Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town during our cross country bicycle trip. The staff was very welcoming and willingly stored our bicycle during our stay. The hotel is classically beautiful and very clean. The location could not have been better, it was within walking distance to many local attractions including Old Town and the Natural History Museum. We highly recommend this property for pleasure or business.

If you're looking for a bit of charm in a hotel and don't mind a somewhat dated and tired look, this property may work nicely for you. On the other hand, if you think that details like almost total inaccessibility to a three-prong electrical outlet might bother you, be aware that this is not a new or luxury property.

The rooms were large-sized, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were courteous and friendly. The Wifi is ok, but only the slow speed is free-- but the other hand, the slow speed is fine for email and the Internet.

Stayed at this hotel over 4th of July weekend. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. Bathroom was a good size. Very comfortable stay. I loved the pool and jacuzzi area as well as the outside eating area. Visited QBar during our stay. This lounge had a good atmosphere for a Thursday night. Not too crowded and older crowd, which was nice.
