Great selection of New Mexico-style Mexican food (very different from Tex Mex I’m used to). My husband and I had enchilada plates. Much to our surprise the enchiladas were made with blue corn tortillas at no additional cost (bonus!). The mile was more chocolate forward than cinnamon forward, but not overly sweet. The Jicama Slaw was a delightful bonus. The House Margaritas were large, well made and worth the price. Overall a nice place for dinner.

We ate at this restaurant for dinner one night during a recent stay at the hotel it is housed in (Hotel Albuquerque). The food was very good. I am not big on spicy food so I ordered the chicken and cheese quesadilla. It was quite mild. For those who like spicy food there is a free small buffet during happy hour that had chicken enchiladas that were very spicy. I am assuming you could order them at dinner too. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that if you have a lot of partiers the noise can be very loud. We asked for a remote table away the partiers and that helped. I would definitely recommend. Oh, and they have a lovely outside courtyard area too.

Giving this 3 stars only because the food was decent. Nothing to get crazy about by yes it was good. Read some other reviews on here about the bad service and boy are they right. This restaurant is in a hotel which not a big deal but we were unaware of. Went for a late dinner at 9pm were told it would be a 30 min wait for 2 people with nearly every table in the place empty. They offer us bar seating, okay fine. We were brought water and menus after about 10 mins and then did not see our server for another 15 mins. Drinks, chips and salsa were brought pretty much as the same time as our meals. If they really had been busy I’m not usually one to complain but we were one of 4 groups in the entire restaurant. Would not go here again because of the awful service, with so many Mexican food choices in Albuquerque do your self a favor and go elsewhere.

Very convenient location - walking distance from Hotel Chaco. Surprised we were sat so quickly on a Friday night, but that is good. Many unique items on the menu. Chips good - salsa way too spicy. Green salsa is mild, but not as good for dipping. Blue corn enchiladas were good, posole was too spicy, rice was excellent. Chimi's spiciness was perfect - mild. Margarita was good. Bill was a bit high, but considering the location and quality, it was worth paying. Service was a bit off.

Went here last year and it was terrible. This year, the food was certainly better. They only got one order wrong, and the service was exceptionally slow. Hard to believe the place ever gets above three stars. Would not have come except it was a Sunday evening and most restaurants were closed, and we had friends in town who wanted Mexican food.
