“Perfect cozy cottage for family of 5 nestled in beautiful nature, close to Olympic National Park”
Reviewed 1 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We stayed in the Pond Cottage for four nights with our 8 and 10 year old kids and my mother. The kitchen was fully equipped and the grocery store is 15 minutes away so that we got to dine in a few nights. The pull out air mattress and the loft mattress were all very comfortable - we all slept really well. The cabin is very comfortable and clean and surrounded by lush, green, meadows and trees, private and quiet. Our kids enjoyed fishing in the nearby pond and picking wild blackberries along the path. We cooked smores by the fire pit at night and just enjoyed the quiet and serene surrounding. Olympic National Park is only 20 minutes away and Port Angeles and Sequim are also close (15 minutes) for shops and restaurants. Suzann was wonderful in helping us plan our perfect family vacation. Our family absolutely loved staying here.

We are delighted to learn that the five of you could be comfortable and enjoy our smallest home so much. It was fun vicariously adventuring with you on the journeys we recommended. We love helping people of appreciate the natural wonders and the importance of protected wilderness. This Olympic National Park and surrounding National Forest are so special, something to protect for generations to come and also is restorative for all of us now. We are grateful we could help you discover this incredible and varied environment.

“Pond cottage”
Reviewed 31 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

The property was beautiful and very private and the cabin was just the right amount of rustic. We were equipped with everything we needed for the perfect stay including cookwareand local guides and we enjoyed watching the wildlife every night. The directions and recommendations were great we relied on both heavily. I would absolutely recommend!

We got to see some deer. The cottage is nicely laid out. It is great for two people or up to 4. More than that would be a stretch. Basic kitchen was more than adequate for us. We used the outdoor grill and it worked fine. We did have some ants one day but the owner came by quickly to take care of things. It was a romantic setting.
