Although a restaurant as part of a pub, the food was above pub standard but still reasonably priced with a varied menu.

Quaint little pub in Placentia. We were a large group, but we were served in a timely manner. Food was good, service is excellent. The menu is not huge, but has something for everybody. The only complaint I would make is, because we were a group of eight or more, the gratuity got added to the bill. Thankfully it was worth the 18% tip!!

The food and service was very good. It is very popular and busy with the locals. It only has 13 tables, so prepare to wait if you come at a meal hour. Our meals were very good, we had Gluten Free Burger, Fish (Breaded not Battered) and Chips, Fried Calamari and Spinach Dip....all earned rave reviews. Would definitely eat here again.

Seafood chowder is good. Adequate seafood. Service is friendly and prompt. Atmosphere is pub style and relaxing. Right across from the beautiful new bridge and Placentia Bay.

The restaurant was quite full, which created some expectations. Neither the service nor the quality came up to them. The "large" seafood chowder was not large enough nor rich enough. Nor was the grilled shrimp salad. Service was slow. The place is overpriced.
