We booked in for Sunday lunch here and decor is lovely and nice atmosphere. 3 if us had beef and I had gammon . The food was cooked well and not a bad price we thought they were a little skimpy on portion sizes but the biggest downside for me was gravy/ sauce already on the plate and too much of it . Much better to let people choose how much or little they would like themselves and easily solved

Dinner out with family, who had been before, but my first time. Very nicely decorated, tables nicely arranged not too close together so easy access. Waitress service at table, drinks arrived promptly. Varied menu with something for everyone. Quizzed the waitress about the ingredients, she didn’t have all the answers but quickly sought them out and replied to queries. I had the rib-eye steak beautifully cooked and delicious. All meals served at same time and very nicely presented. Puddings were equally as delicious.

This restaurant is on the edge of the Brecon Beacon & was recommended by our B&B hosts from the Granary in Talgarth, it has recently been beautifully refurbished, good car park & outside eating area the inside is very elegant & spacious, great for a wedding venue, the service was excellent as was the food with a very varied menu to suit all pockets. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed it so much that we made a return visit.

Found Foyles advertised in some literature at a holiday cottage. Dropped in with family for a drink one evening and confirmed dogs are permitted in the bar area and to the side of the bar but not in the restaurant. Booked up a meal two evenings later and with the dog we were placed just to the side of the bar. Don’t get put off, the bar and side area are lovely. Excellent decor and very comfortable. We sat just outside the restaurant area, which looked great too. Fab meal, huge choice, though I would suggest a few more vegetarian dishes could add a more rounded choice for a vegetarian diet. Food and service excellent, not rushed and we departed after 2.5 hours. Lovely leisurely meal. Would definitely visit again.
