Review of The Time Capsule

The Time Capsule
Reviewed 1 April 2018 via mobile

We visited the time capsule on a busy Saturday morning with our two children age 5 and 2. From the moment we arrived in the changing area it was obvious the place was far from clean. Dirt and hair on the floor. An open drain in the ladies toilet. Grit all round the edges of the baby pool. Plasters floating in the water. To top off the visit, my partners changing room looked to have human excrement on the walls.
There seemed to be plenty staff, however from what I could see, they were mostly all chatting to one another. Just a shame no one thought to pick up a mop.
The kids had fun but we will never return. Absolutely the dirtiest, filthiest swimming pool I have ever visited. Shame on the staff and management.

Been here twice now with my partner, once last April for my birthday and once this year as a day out! The first time we went one of the flumes was off so I was glad to see they were both open this second time and we could race each other down. The slide with the rings was great fun too, even if shorter than expected! We had quite a wait to get into the pool this time in a huge queue, no one knew what the wait was for, just that staff kept calling skaters forward. It would have been nice to have been given an explanation or even an apology for our 35 minute wait outside the door. Once in it was very difficult to find a changing room with many people leaving their belongings in them, and them no where to be seen and the lockers are difficult to understand. We still don’t understand how they work and just go with it. We spent 15 mins trying to open it at the end of our swim for an employee to help us open it by just giving it a hit. A guide on how to use the lockers would be appreciated! Other than that, the cafe is always alright quality for a good hot dog and can of juice, I’m sure we will be back in the future!

I use to love this place but now they have made the lockers hi tec it sucks. Got in and tried 20+ lockers. One worked with the band key provided. Asked for assistance and they tried for a further 10 mins and still no luck. Then at last one became vacant and it worked. Organised caos with staff who are overwhelmed by the lockers not working and front door staff who don’t give a crap about your day being ruined.
Shocking experience with lots of people saying they won’t be back.
New lockers you can stick them.

Recently came here with friends. Very enjoyable water park and some relaxing areas for adults if travelling with children.

Loved the big slide, a lot of laughs, the tornado tantrum I think it was called. Only slight inconvenience was the lockers, there was some slight confusion with the bands, we had to get a staff member to help.

Wave machine was slightly disappointing, it’s called the Tsunami but it’s just like swimming in the sea. Perhaps in future add a big wave which covers everyone in future every few minutes?

Also loved the leisurely slides near the rapids.

Overall, fun for all the family. Good day out.
