The Cafe Continental is a well established bar restaurant. The view from the back seating section is spectacular day or night.
The decor inside is very cool and casual plenty of seating . Staff are friendly very efficient and always happy and smiling no matter how busy it gets.
The menu is very good quality with a good variety and plenty of daily specials. Vegetarian and other food preferences are very well catered for. Price wise middle scale mains from £10- 15 . Great selection of drinks and a general good atmosphere.
Plenty of on street parking as well as a large public car park behind the cafe.

Went here for lunch after being recommended by local friends. Disappointed only because we couldn't get a window seat that overlooks the water. Anyway, settled for an near the entrance table which was fine. Menu very good and varied. Service friendly and quick. Portions good for all eaters. The attraction is the décor which is Art Deco combined with Victorian tiling and is relatively unchanged. The atmosphere is buzzy and trendy with lots of mixed clientele. A lovely experience all round.

A big thanks to Laurie and the team at Cafe Continental. A group of older adults and their volunteer helpers from Roar Connections for Life based in Paisley visited the cafe last Wednesday for Lunch. We could not have been made more welcome, staff had arranged seating so that we had magnificent views over the Firth of Clyde. A menu especially tailored for our group was provided and everyone enjoyed a most delicious lunch, comments from the group ' the pate was fabulous', 'steak pie was great' ' tasty soup'. Well done to all, we'll be back!!
