“Great views”

The bungalow is situated at the top of the hill above Portscatho in the neighbouring village of Gerrans. Off road parking is a bonus as there is not much parking in the village.

The bungalow is a little bit dated, but mainly clean. We decided to give the plates and bowls a quick once over as we didn't know how long they had been in the cupboard.

Breakfast was always in the conservatory, if the sun was out it was very warm, otherwise put your slippers on!! However, the views as the sun rose across the bay were brilliant.

We would go back there again.

“Great place for comfortable, relaxing holiday”

A perfect bungalow, spacious, well-equipped, lovely views to bay, sea and headlands. The conservatory is a real boon, adding both space and somewhere to sit in inclement weather. Near to local facilities i.e. shops in Portscatho & two pubs serving food. The Royal Standard- a few metres away - serves good basic food. "The Plume of Feathers" in Portscatho has a bigger choice of menu & the food, the service and welcome are excellent. Also, it has a good, lively atmosphere. Next door is a small take-away service. By the slipway, "Towans" serves great snacks etc You need to book for the "Hidden Hut" at Porthcurnick. Great walks, especially the coastal path.

“Relaxed property owners who just wanted you to have a lovely holiday”
Reviewed 12 January 2015 for a stay in September 2014

The bungalow is very well positioned and has everything you could want, including a BBQ, a good sized garden, lovely views onto the sea, Widescreen TV, a well equipped kitchen and a big cosy lounge. Plenty of room for the four adults and one toddler in our party. When on our explorations around the property we remarked on how friendly the other holiday makers and local residents were, all adding to the relaxing environment. We explored the coves around the property and the local hostelries. Three pubs nearby all with their own attractions: Royal Standard (50 metres away) and the Plume Of Feathers & The Harbour Club (down the hill in Portscatho). The “Hidden Hut” is well worth finding just along the costal path where you can sit and eat, or just enjoy the views of the cove. We also explored the nearby towns and villages (St Mawes is a beautiful place). A very pleasant, relaxing and excellent value for money holiday.
