I've already written a positive review on the Golmar but forgot to mention the STUNNING views from the rooms. We heard the goats bells tinkling as they came down from the mountain! We were woken by the sound of the cockerel each morning ! ( I'm usually woken by heavy traffic, as I live on a main road) From our room balcony we had the most amazing view across the bay. It's a perfect location. I'm definitely booking for next year. Happy holiday xxx

This hotel is situated at the edge of a beautiful bay with breathtaking views of the sea and islands. It is beautifully kept, clean and tidy. The rooms are not luxurious, but neat and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous, offering hot food - eggs, sausages, etc., and cold food - various sliced meats and cheeses. Also processed spreads and jams, fruits and yogurts, and various kinds of bread. The coffee is excellent.
ONE IMPORTANT TIP ! Breakfast starts at 8.00, and you need to get there early....otherwise the hot food tends to dry out, which is what other reviewers have experienced.
The reception staff are pleasant and helpful, and speak fluent and idiomatic English. The junior staff do not, and therefore try to avoid conversation if possible out of embarrassment - this could be mistaken for rudeness.
Behind the hotel there is a little farm, and its dogs do sometimes bark in the night. Also, it has two roosters, which start crowing early. Otherwise the hotel was beautiful quiet and peaceful.
Rooms have fridges and air-conditioning, but you have to pay extra. £4 a night for air-con, which mounts up and I found annoying. It was however essential.
Do take the hotel's own boat ride - excellent value for money.
All in all, I loved this hotel. I would certainly visit it again !

Room Tip: All rooms have sea views.

I've just returned from this hotel having had two great weeks at the end of September /October and what a lovely clean hotel. The staff will do anything to help you in anyway,Kerim the hotel manager rang us at home many times after Low cost holidays crashed to continue are booking which was very helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy, the maid service was excellent. The pool was very clean and a 2 min walk to the beach where the water was so clear and warm. We used the hotel boat trip which was cheap and the food on the boat was excellent, where the hotel food was a little hit and miss, but more for europeans but if you like chicken you won't go wrong. Will defogo back again and again as the turkish people are so nice. and the night shift manager was full of help and advice

Room Tip: high floor with a room nearer to the mountain not the next hotel side as the balcony gets sun in the afternoon
