Incredible views from the summit. Montgo’s trunk surfaces as Ibiza and the views up towards Denia, out to the Med and down to Cumbre are sights to behold. Good shoes, hats and water are essential. And maybe even a small bottle of vino to celebrate the ascent !

We set off around 5.30 - 6am, so that we can do the climb in the relative cool and also see the sun rise. Good walking shoes are important and plenty of water, sun screen and a hat
You will be rewarded with incredible views and a smug sense of achievement

I have a villa just below the Montgo Mountain and the views are just amazing. As the sun sets the colours change leaving a real Karma.

This is an amazing hike up a beautiful mountain.

You will need proper walking shoes , water, hats as there is no shade on the walk.

I recommend this walk during, the cooler months and would suggest you avoid it during July and August as it’s far to hot and there and the added risk of fire due to idiots smoking or just excess heat and you wouldn’t want to be on the mountain in a fire.

But, during the rest of the year it’s something you must do. There is various walks catering for the less active to the super fit. Enjoy but keep safe

A couple of friends decided they were going to walk up to the peak of Montgo.
They made it after a couple of hours. Apparently the last part being the most trickiest.
Views amazing and a sense of achievement!
Will do this !!!!
