We visited merely for tapas but the excellent staff and atmosphere made this an thoroughly enjoyable visit. Imaginative menu and delightful service, we shall return.

We stopped for drinks as it was the only place with outside seating that was in the sun.

We were very well looked after and the drinks were reasonably priced for ‘Tapas Alley’.

Lots of people were dining here - either with tapas or the set lunch menu and all the food was beautifully presented. We tried the scrambled egg with mushrooms and it was really yummy.

We will definitely be back and will try the menu del Dia next time.

A delightful typically Spanish restaurant whose perhaps biggest attraction is the characterful street upon which you can sit, immediately outside the restaurant. Reasonable prices and an extensive menu especially the menu del dia options, allow you to select precisely what you want and get excellent value for money.
Service was courteous and friendly throughout as well as helpful.
An altogether pleasant experience where you can easily sit all day and into the evening whiling away the hours in chat and people watching. Located near to the castle which of itself is a good place to visit for the newcomer to the city.

We liked the look of this restaurant as we passed by earlier in the week, went there for our last meal of the vacation. We were not disappointed, the food was superb, vegetable paella, Iberian pork with a mustard sauce don't really tell how good the food was. And the desert, a deconstructed tarte tatan was to die for... the waiters were attentive despite a busy service willing to help translate from the menu and advise on wine choices. Prices were reasonable for the area, but quality was exceptional for the money, we would highly recommend.

Don't be put off if it looks empty, we were first to be seated, within 30 mins they ran out of seats!
