Huge place. Only buffet, you can't get a sandwich or a steak. Breakfast buffet quality lacking. Bug juice not orange juice. Need a pass to go anywhere. Not near any restaurants or shops. Better book a small hotel near town. Average age of clients was minimum 80. Thought I was in an old folks home.

That's right, we are a hotel with more than four hundred rooms, we can be considered a large hotel.
As published on our website and on the rest of the pages that sell the hotel, it clearly appears that our service is an all-you-can-eat buffet. We are not a hotel with an a la carte restaurant.
Leaving the hotel and turning to the right, from the hotel door and up to a distance of no more than ten minutes on foot, there are shops, restaurants, a tobacconist's, bicycle rental, a pharmacy...
That most of the people staying at the hotel are older people (retired)... Obviously.
They are the only ones who can travel on these dates.
Stay on a weekend, at Easter or in the summer season, when most of the clients are married couples with children (up to 600 children staying)... and the type of client will be different. Of course also the price you pay.
We are three kilometers from the center of Peñiscola, which can be reached by taking a walk along the beach, in your own vehicle or by bus, whose stop is one hundred meters from the hotel.
It is advisable to read carefully what is contracted, so as not to be surprised by location, distances, type of restaurant, paid Spa, free Gym...

Firstly it is not in Peñiscola - it is 4.5 km walk to the castle area!
The rooms are spacious with large beds and a big terrace.
Everything is controlled military style in the dining room, but the food is a big disappointment- mass produced canteen quality food. The selection is also limited as far as fresh food is concerned!!!
The decor reflects the age of the hotel and needs updating desperately.
Staff were generally friendly 😃

swimming pool beautiful but too small for the size of the hotel
food was NOT good especially breakfast, the coffee and orange juice were really bad quality
they charge us extra for a baby cot when it was not mentioned on the website that it had an extra cost
my children enjoyed the kids animation a lot

The negative:
The staff: they’re quite rude, mainly during food service.
The location: do not stay is this part of the city/beach. The part near the castle is sooo much more beautiful, it’s like another dimension.
The positive:
The room is nice, the view (side rooms) are ok.
The room itself is good, spacious, clean, AC functional, basic toiletries, English channels, the bed comfortable.

Estamos a 3 km da cidade. Você pode ir, passeando pela praia, em veículo próprio ou de ônibus, cuja parada fica a 100 metros do hotel.
Estamos numa zona sossegada e sem aglomerações, onde pode descansar sem barulho. E a praia não está lotada. É outra dimensão.

Would not stay there again. The best thing going for this hotel is the location. Staff is not bilingual although the website states almost every language. The check in hostess spoke no English. When we got in our room we wondered why the bathroom floor was all wet. The sink was leaking so we put the trash can under it. The Mitsubishi a/c - heating unit did not work. It was hot in the room. There were no tissues in the room. The tub had hairs in it from previous guests. The floors were dirty. The one trash can in the room we used for the leak. Would not recommend.
