My wife and I chose menu of the day. Starters were tuna & pepper salad and I had the melon & Iberian ham. Both very refreshing. Mains, I had the pork loin in a pepper sauce and my wife had the chicken in a mild curry sauce. Both delicious. Deserts were pineapple ice cream for me and flan for my wife, perfect end to the 3 courses. We also had coffee, a bottle of local red wine and a large bottle of water. They also provide bread and olives prior to the meal and a local digestive after the meal. All this for less than €40 for the two of us. Unbelievable value for the quality of food. The staff were great and very attentive. In fact it was the waitress who recommended the wine, great choice. If your in the town, make a point of visiting, you won’t be disappointed.

I came here under the recommendation of Lonely Planet (page 136 of the Andalucia guide book). Excellent staff serving “traditional mountain cuisine”. Pheasant and rabbit on the menu and very good values for wine.

After touring around italy and spain for more than a month this was the first place we actually got a different vegetarian menu. It was enough that they had vegetarian food but we actually got to choose a dish! This was a very pleasant change from having to use google translate just to figure out what we will be eating from the limited options that all the restaurants had. To add to the pleasant surprise was the treat to our palates, the food ! Fried rice with asparagus and mushrooms in creamy sauce were simply yummy. The breads given as sides were actually covered with a cloth and so soft. The pickles as a side were lip smacking as well. This was also the first time when we ordered the wine not to gulp down the meal but to actually celebrate it!

Just off the square next to a jasmine hedge, the ideal spot for lunch. Lovely day so we sat outside, plenty of seating upstairs in the restaurant too. Friendly waiting staff. Good choices on the menu. Melon and ham, scrambled egg with spinach, risotto, red pepper and tuna starters, all very good. Main courses of chicken and pork were good with the apple sauce worthy of a special mention. Creme caramel or ice cream for dessert. Ice cream was mandarin and it was delicious. Would certainly go again.

We found our selves here on a cold January night and were greeted very warmly. The staff was really nice and the food was pretty good. I had the venison and my girlfriend had some steak. Both tasty.
