Royal Suites is perfectly located for gorgeous Costa del Sol weather, and ideally located for many great golf courses. You need a car, but with secure underground parking that’s no problem, and just a short drive away is Benahavis with lots of great restaurants and those amazing views. Slightly further away is Marbella and Estepona offering good shopping and beaches. The pool at Royal Suites is very relaxing for a sunbathe and a good length for some exercise. There is a very good Lidl 5 minutes away by car for all your supplies, and the apartment we stayed in had all the mod cons if you want to stay in and eat. Great views from the balcony to enjoy breakfast on, or a glass of wine whilst drinking in the fantastic views over the golf course to the coast. Perfect place to unwind, destress and breathe.

What a lovely place to stay. The weather was very kind to us too. Although a little out of the way for shops, restaurants etc it is the perfect place to stay if you just want a break away from the hustle and bustle of home. We would definitely stay here again

I came to stay here a few weeks ago with my husband, we were greeted by a lovely English girl called Genevieve who was extremely helpful. She gave us recommendations of where to visit in the city and nothing was too much trouble for her. A massive shame she's leaving at the end of the summer, thank you Genevieve! Nice hotel with a lovely pool and large bedroom.

The apartment was pretty standard, a basic double bedroom with cooking facilities which were useful. The pool area was nice and quiet. What really made our stay great was the receptionist, Genevieve - she was the ONLY member of staff that was fluent in english (surprising for a resort in such a touristy area) and was so helpful and attentive, she gave us loads of great recommendations and really seemed to know the area. She was also really helpful in finding us an iron to use at short notice and basically answering any of our questions. On our second day she was working when we left the complex at 2 in the afternoon and she was still there at midnight on her own - i was surprised to learn she was only an INTERN so im not sure where the other full time members of staff were? But at other times they seemed quite rude and unable to communicate with the guests as they speak next to no English. Overall it was a great stay but largely due to the great customer service provided by Genevieve - without her it would have felt a lot less welcoming :)

Our family of 2 adults and 4 children just returned. Our apartment was lovely. Pool area was ok but a shortage of beds. Hardly ever a lifeguard on duty. Food at hotel was average at best , with there only ever being one lady serving and cooking the food! I highly recommend hiring a car here, everything is so far away i.e. Shops , restaurants. We had to take 2 taxis to get anywhere. Taxi prices varied every time we went anywhere. Feel cheated as it states this is in Marbella where in fact it's Benahavis. 20 miles away from Marbella .
