Stayed at the soreda for 10 nights in June. All I shall say is my 28yr old son spent a week in hospital seriously ill with salmonella poisoning and campylobacter bacteria from the hotels food!!! The hospital has informed Malta Public Health!! Avoid at all cost

Went with my father in law and fiancé all inclusive .... Standard of food has gone downhill immensely ! Two male men soiled their pants on the roof terrace ! After several complaints from disgusted customers , management didnt act on this until an hour later ! People were eating food at lunchtime ! Very poor standards of hygiene acceptable to the hotel ! The day after one of the same men urinated whilst sat in his chair and once more after several complaints later , I was just told "he's going home tomorrow"
Management and service was absolutely appalling ! Ignorant and very rude !
One good thing I have to say was how hard the bedroom maids worked

After a nightmare journey with Ryanair we arrived at 4am to be greeted with crossiants and tea/coffee. In the morning woke up to a fine sunny day, time to discover, room was immaculate and cleaned every day, the exterior of the building could do with a lick of emulsion. down to breakfast, loads to choose from something for everyone, maybe a hot plate for frying eggs maybe better instead of ones in container, seemed very busy, a quick idea for hotel would be to allocate a table for the period of stay instead of waiting to be shown to table. Evening meal time was extremely busy, could maybe do 2 sittings, service from staff was brilliant. Facilities- Wi fi was spot on indoor pull second floor down in the basement and for the keep fit fanatic a mega huge gym, a comfortable downstairs lounge, a roof top bar and pool serving snacks from 11 am every day so if you don't fancy brekky this will suffice, the evening entertainment was first classowners., This hotel prides itself in cleanliness and friendliness and a credit to the owners. Caution, please take care when walking as the pavements are narrorw and not even, building work in the surrounding areas going on but health and Safety does not come into the equation, driving here is scary with the attitude i am the only one on the road, to add the dreaded time share people are lurking and very rude. Recommend the open bus tours especially Valleta , local buses are cheap but very busy, to hire a car at your peril is roughly 20 euros plus 8 euros insurance per day plus your credit card for damage so I would inspect car before you drive off.. So that's it folks.

Stayed at Soreda hotel at the of May and really quiet enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 3 and had a lovely big room with a master bedroom as a separate room and balcony overlooking the main street and the sea and local villages. Room was cleaned everyday to high standard.
Food was lovely and enough choice to satisfy everyone, soups were especially delicious. Couple of times they had a piano player during dinner time which was a nice touch.
The hotel has 2 outside pools but the water in them was absolutely freezing so we didn't dare to go in, however there is an indoor pool with a Jacuzzi which was lovely.

Entertainment was very bad and reminded of something you will normally see in a small caravan park, so we just went out for a walk in the evening.
There is a handy main bus stop in Buġibba, 5 min walk from the hotel, please note DON'T rely on busses to get you anywhere on time, they get really busy and don't stop to pick you up, but the bus stop at Buġibba is the first stop for all the busses so at least you can get a seat.

Overall good experience.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on 4th or 5th floor otherwise you will not have a view.

We went to the Soreda for 4 nights stay arrived last Friday 15/6/18 at approx 9.00pm we were in contact with the hotels reservations manager by email. I did say we were going to be late arriving and we would miss dinner. The reservations manager said that he would have a cold meat platter ready for us in our room.well what a lovely surprise it looked great on the plates a bottle of red wine, water still and sparkling and slices of fresh bread & butter. The hotel really cares about there customers Nd treat you like part of the family, we have been back a few times but just had to review our appreciation to the management and staff at the Soreda. Everyone goes out of their way to make youre stay is a good one.

Room Tip: 4th floor over looking the main road as you get a partial sea view.
