Haven't stayed here for a few years now, but it was a very strict dress code in the main hotel areas. Food & hotel cleanliness is extremely good. Staff are quite a mixed bunch. Some helpful & friendly but others quite off-hand. May have changed though!

Thank you so much for your feedback about your stay at the Dolmen hotel. Even though it is some years ago since you were the last time in our hotel, we appreciate your kind review. We do not have a strict dress code in the main hotel area anymore. Thank you for your comments about the food and the cleanliness in our hotel. Our staff is normally described as very helpful and friendly, which you also experienced partly when you were visiting us.

Amazing hotel!! Visit by must! Been here with my big family. Staff and service provided was amazing and worth every penny spent on accommodation at this place. Rooms were extremely cleaned and staff was so professional. Definitely to be recommended!!

Just returned from two lovely weeks at the Dolmen. As others have mentioned it has a great location on the waterfront and a few minutes walk from the bus station. In hot weather we really enjoyed the excellent indoor swimming pool, as well as the outside pool water aerobics class with Shaggy. The standout for us was the delicious Sunday buffet lunch, a feast of seafood and other dishes, followed by delicious desserts. The chocolate dipping sauce is not to be missed.

Last night here in Malta staying at Dolmen hotel. Really good experience at hotel. Everyone very friendly. Stayed bed and breakfast. Breakfast was good. Didn't use any of other restaurants so can't comment. Room was cleaned daily Seaview on 2nd floor. View not great as roof of cafeteria was in front of balcony although didn't come to spend time in room!
Best restaurant we visited was Incognito by far! Went 3 nights out of 11. Chefs table was also excellent.
Hotel Dolmen is in excellent location. Buses next to hotel car park. Bugibba Square few minutes walk.
Don't usually do return visits as we like to try different countries but if I return to Malta would not hesitate to return to Dolmen.

Stayed at dolmen hotel bugibba a very nice hotel but 4star I am not sure very neat and tidy with all the facilities you would expect but when we were there room was not ready until 2.0 a wait of over an hour whilst other people checking in after us seem to go straight to there rooms not a good start claimed mini bar was available but just water in there and that was one day only for superior room which I was not to impressed with wanted a full sea view but no view to the left just a brick wall next time will be more wary about paying for extra .meals were very good but not hot I like my food hot not luke warm or even cold scope here for improvement entertainment in the evenings was very muted as if there was a noise level you must not exceed decor was a little be dated and it seemed there was continuous plastering going on along corridors which left patchy paint work and a few paintings would also liven the place up a bit air con seemed to struggle at night always ended up kicking covers of.pool area was quite good and plenty of sun beds available .but overall the week left me with the feeling been here once but not again.PS even had to ask for milk to be left as non after first day supposed to be tea making facility in room means everything is there not go looking for it or as we did buy your own milk

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback and for expressing your concerns.
We are committed to provide excellent quality of our products and services to our guests.We will share your impressions with the corresponding departments. Check in is at 2pm, so if I understood you correctly you got your room at Check in time. Our hotel provides our guest with a special service. Our guest will find water bottles per person in the Minibar on arrival, this will not be replenished. If our clients wish to fill up their Minibar, they just phone the Delos or request it at reception. This will be against a charge. If the room is not to your satisfaction, it is always advisable to ask at reception for a room change.Our flexible team will always do their outmost to help you. Thank you for your positive remarks about the food. I will forward your concern , that it wasn't warm enough to our F&B department.
We also provide our guest with the special service of tea and coffee facilities in the room. This is an extra service and it is free of charge. Our guests can always ask for milk, coffe or tea at reception.That's why your remark about the missing milk, is not quite understandable for me.
We can assure you that we treat guest comments very seriously and take decisive actions to correct any shortcomings. A feedback, whilst you were staying with us, would have been very much appreciated to assure a good experience for you in our hotel.
