“A great place to be”
Reviewed 30 December 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We spent beautiful 2 weeks in the upper apartment in Casa Lila. Despite of the month of November we were lucky with weather and enjoyed sitting on the huge terrace. We managed multiple trips to various locations and loved relaxing in Mirano, a small market town. Casa Lila is a strategic place to combine daily trips by car or bus, walk to the square or stay at the villa. The bus station is only 5 minutes walk & center of Mirano is about 15 minutes walk from the villa. Tips: Daily trips by bus or car to Venice, daily water bus pass in Venice including Lido, visits of Vicenza, Verona, Stra, Noale, Chioggia, Lido di Jesolo, Treviso, Villa Pisani, long car trip to Dolomites. Casa Lila is also a good place for self-catering and random eating at restaurants. Tone & Linda were fantastic!

“A gem of a villa in a great location for exploring the Veneto”
Reviewed 12 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We had a great week at Casa Lila. Toni, the owner, happened to be there in the upstairs apartment and gave us loads of great tips on places to go, shops to visit, etc. The villa had everything we needed for a comfortable, easy holiday and its location means that you can get to the Dolomites in under 2 hours, or Lake Garda in under 1.5 hrs (you obviously need a car). We went to Venice twice (by train and by car), and also the waterpark in Noale for a bit of chill out time. Mirano is a lovely town with good bars, restaurants and ice cream. The butcher at the end of the road does BBQ food to takeaway at weekends and great meat generally. The neighbours are really friendly too, most families passing houses down through the generations. The pool was the highlight at the end of a long hot day's sightseeing. This villa would be great for two groups/families who want to holiday together but live separately! The only downside of the villa is that it couldn't be described as a rural idyll (you can hear the road to the town a bit) but for ease of exploring it's unbeatable.
