My sister and I traveled to Richmond for a wedding and stayed at the Graduate. The hotel is nicely situated near VCU and within walking distance of several good restaurants.
Check-in went smoothly. We arrived a bit early and they were able to store our bags while we went to get some lunch. I love the fun key cards!
The room was a good size with comfortable bedding and a nice bathroom. Amenities were high-quality. Decor is fun throughout the hotel. For some reason our room did not receive housekeeping services during the two days we were there, but we weren’t bothered by this and didn’t bother to call anyone about it.
The hotel has a coffee/snack bar in the lobby. Coffee was good but service extremely slow, so if you will be looking for a latte in the morning build in some time.
Although it was a bit cold we checked out the rooftop bar. It was fun and I’m sure in the summer it is a great place to spend a lot of time. The outdoor pool had closed for the season when we were there.
Elevators are very slow.
I would stay there again if returning to Richmond.More
