Another place which far exceeded expectations. Great staff and facility, and the hot pools made us pain free and relaxed. Clean showers, awesome restaurant and beautiful setting make this a must see for weary travelers to the western area of Iceland.

If given the choice between a busy, manufactured and super-well known Blue Lagoon to the lower-key, truly relaxing and less-known Krauma - if I only had one to choose, Krauma would be it. The entry fee is reasonable. The facility is absolutely phenomenal, very clean, great showers and lockers. There are various temperature hot pools to soak in. The steam and sauna rooms are lovely. Above all else, the relaxation room with fireplace was to die for. I think I had a nice little nap uninterrupted while there!
