A great bar with fab live music and excellent quiz nights. Drinks are good prices and make sure you try all the shots, we certainly did

Visited briefly in June 2017, enjoyed it so much we booked a holiday in the hotel next door for the year after and we where not disappointed
Dave and Danielle and George are the perfect hosts
Ice cold beer, good music, fabulous location, excellent hosts, bloody good crack
Quiz night is a scream, we won a bottle of wine which we have left chilling in the fridge , keep reading on how to claim it as I will be donating it to one lucky reader
Stuck in the middle house band on a Wednesday was my favourite, I still have images of Dave doing Tina Turner , in fact if you like the Jolly Roger Facebook page and upload a video of Dave doing said dance and song , I will pick one of you and message you the name you need to claim ice cold bottle of rose wine
We will definitely be returning next year if not sooner
Thank you Danielle and Dave for a fabulous time x Yamas

Visited here a few yrs ago, unable to return due to health issues. Made our day out to Sissi an all day affair ,spot of lunch then a stroll nice meal and made the first of two visits. So you understand we aren't staying in Sissi but a visit here is a must if you like good music and good drinks and great people.First visit Wednesday..Remembered the fantastic guitarist from before..still fantastic, the duo called Stuck in the middle have some cool songs ,some not all done rather well and sung in shall we say a rather unique type style but not amazing or memorable, apologies to the man for that, Dave so i was informed by the trouble and strife is the owner along with his hard working wife Danielle.
Nice geezer but not a singer I'd go to see again but like we say..personel choice. George and Maria good fun made us welcome so we returned on Saturday night to see the Infamous Diesel and Woody, having seen them before we choose to sit downstairs out of view ..Once again didn't disappoint, so if you like great music with a lot of fun and frolic and watch two amazing entertainers give you a great night out then Saturday night's are the night's for you..small tip.just keep your eyes on them ,they constantly talk to each other made gestures and laugh for reasons only they know and understand ..especially Woody the fantas tic guitarist..you just laugh at him laughing and as for that Scottish geezer Diesel still entertaing, funny and also a fantastic singer. .overall great pub great people and a must visit place.Only small minus and don't quote me as it was told to the Mrs by a regular so they say is that apart from the Saturday audience participation and fun music night you hear a lot of the same songs from different artists on the other nights...blues and rock type.. Would it put me off..maybe but then again oI like all sorts as does the Mrs and our friends. Did go to Stalis to see Diesel Jim Brown doing a solo vocalist night ,Mrs recognised him ,didn't speak to him but did say hello to him on Saturday night during the break ,he knew our faces but couldn't remember us ..must be an age thing so i told him. Go see him at the Irish bar in Stalis..great songs of all genre's.
Will we be coming again..Yes but only to see the Rock and those two Diesel and Woody. We dont do Facebook but may have to set it up just to follow this lot ..Many thanks Danielle, Dave,George,Maria for the fantastic hospitality and entertainment and thank you Jim Brown and Brian Meacham for another memorable night. Also the Cockney lady up stairs for a view I wont forget in a hurry ,even if i have therapy ( Big thanks to the Trouble and strife for remembering Brian's full name only cause she asked)

We came here nearly every evening with our friends during our stay! Clean and Pirate themed bar set on two levels overlooking the sea and a short walk past the seafront restaurants (just head for the strings of coloured ulbs and music!) The owners work tirelessly all evening for their customers and even take part in some of the evening entertainment! Dave ran the quiz on friday evening and there's alcohol for the winners...the rest of the week is jampacked with live music and that sometimes requires audience participation! A big thank you to Dave, Danielle and George for making us feel so welcome and, hopefully, we'll be back to see you next year!
