This was a great tour! Unfortunately we did not see a whole lot of wildlife except at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center which we thoroughly enjoyed. Josh was the best tour guide! We had a lot of fun!

Our tour guide sent us a text message to let us know he would be pulling to the curb and he did that a minute later, five minutes early. We met the cheerful and friendly driver/guide, John, who would host our tour for the day. Despite the less than perfect weather, he assured us we'd have fun, and see some great sights. John was correct on both counts. He made sure we got to see Denali, and her lesser known sister mountain. He took us to scenic overlooks and explained the history of the state at the same time. We drove by Earthquake Park. John gave us the backstory on the Seward Highway, and made sure everyone had the chance to ask questions. We visited the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, and John made sure we got up close pictures of the bears. He gave us tips about how to best spend our time there. John explained the different glaciers we saw, and took pictures for everyone who wanted help. We had a special treat when we reached Portage Glacier. A portion had calved, or broken away overnight, and was floating next to the overlook area. Despite some driving rain and wind at that point, we were all in awe. John made sure we learned a lot about Alaska, and rewarded our memories with small prizes. It was a really good experience.

Highly recommend this bike tour on the coastal trail! Mariah was an excellent guide. She showed us how to ride the e-bikes and took a few stops for pictures and time for a walk down to the beach.
