For any body visiting the invasion beaches this is the perfect place to start, you are just across the road from the famous Utah beach, the site is well equipped with lots of facilities for all types of family's.
I only wish we could have stayed longer, to take full advantage of the site, but we were coming to the end of 6 weeks in France..

Room Tip: we were using our own touring caravan, but the do have all sorts of accomadation available, for hire.

Large campsite, easy to find and directly by a long sandy beach. We booked through Caravan and Motorhome club because of its proximity to the WW2 American landing beaches and to Sainte amère Eglise and the Utah beach museum. This site is mainly for mobile homes with additional touring pitches with high hedges that provide privacy and shelter from sea breezes. There is an excellent outdoor pool complex but the weather was too cool to try them. There was also a cafe/ bar but again we did not try them. We have booked again same time next year as it is very convenient for revisiting places we missed last time. Please be warned, it is not in Ravenoville or very near Quineville as Camping Club suggests. It is on its own surrounded by fields. The surroundings are very flat, ideal for cycling.

Room Tip: All caravan and motorhome pitches look fine and not far from sanitaires which are also very good.

We have stopped at Le Cormoran several times now over the years and can honestly say that it is a well kept and equipped site near the unspoilt coast of eastern Normandy. The area is pretty much unspoilt and gives the feel of family holidays in the UK from my long distant youth .The site is great for old and young with a lovely in and out pool area kids play area and loads of other things going on .All the facilities are clean and well kept .We are happy to go there anytime .

The best of campsites we have been to. The staff are very helpful and understanding. We will definitely be back next year for the 75th D-Day celebrations. Site clean and tidy, toilet facilities good, swimming pool lovely.

This is a lovely site, set right on the seafront so most days it was windy. It is not an accessible beach so not suitable for a family holiday. The local area has only one restaurant, which is only open for a few hours, no other places to eat/drink unless you go further afield.
However the site does cater for most things, the shop is adequately stocked, including alcohol. The bar is fine but just lacks some background music as there is no atmosphere.
Takeaway is quite expensive & you have to like pizza!
The site, showers, toilets are kept very clean. The pitches are large & offer privacy with bushes in between. The two swimming pools are great, one being indoor. A good idea that you are able to hire a car approx €35 a day, especially if you have a motorhome.
We cycled to Utah beach which was 6 kilometres & St Mere Eglise. We also walked along the front to the World War 2 museum, took us 75 mins each way, but it was a nice, easy walk.
