“Great location”
Reviewed 13 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

This was a well - located rather austere condo in a great location close to everything. It had all the essentials needed to keep house for a few days, though not a luxurious place. Negatives: bad views, because it looks out to a parking lot from the master bedroom, and out to the next door neighbor's brick building from the 2nd bedroom. But it is only a few blocks to the Pike Plaza market, and other sights near and dear to visitors. We only had to get our car out for mount rainier and a couple of dinners.

“Very spacious and well equipped”

Good location and very well equipped apartment. We had 5 adults and there was plenty of room. Very close to Pike Markets.

“Stellar location, nice place with breathtaking rooftop deck, but watch out for hot summer days, as no A/C present.”
Reviewed 1 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The Arthouse was a very nice StayAlfred-based rental property that was used for 5 days and 4 nights. The building was quiet, newer, and instructions to get in were easy to follow.

Interestingly, one of the tenants in our first elevator trip mentioned that "the building has been really hot lately, and has no A/C."
We stayed on the 6th floor, and indeed, no central air. The unit had 2 box fans and a floor-based A/C unit, which doesn't work well with the windows, but you could remove the screen if needbe. We connected it to the door onto the balcony and this worked well.

Now to the positives: The location is incredibly hard to beat. Even with a busy road behind this unit (# 610) sleeping was not a problem for us, with the windows open overnight. You're a few blocks from Pike Place, and all the associated shops and stuff to do.
You're a block from the bridge that goes over to one of the Cruise Ship ports, and that bridge can also take you down to Alaskan Way, allowing you to walk along the water and to the piers.
Location is the strongest part of a strong unit/place to stay!

Adding to the delight of the building are the two outdoor spaces. On the 6th floor is a nice outdoor area, but where your really want to go is the 8th floor indoor/outdoor space. The views of Elliott Bay, the Space Needle, the downtown Skyline, Mt. Ranier, and more...priceless.
One morning we woke, had fresh pastries from Le Panier and coffee from Starbucks while we watch the fog slowly roll over Elliott Bay, turning the other direction to watch the elevators go up and down the Space Needle. Truly top notch.

The actual apartment space is a tad cozy, but doable. We had one couple, and then our couple included our 2-year-old, who slept in the queen-sized bed with us.

Overall, we give the Arthouse an A, with views and location being its best features, and lack of A/C for a mid-August an annoying, but manageable, drawback.

“Just moderate and very loud”
Reviewed 6 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Unfortunately the apartment was located towards a main road, it was incredible loud and we hardly slept. The carpet requires a cleaning and the furniture is of rather cheap quality. For the price we paid we believed we would have deserved better

“traffic noise”
Reviewed 4 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Very clean and cute. Stay Alfred is very helpful and nice on the phone., We were in Seattle at the hottest part and condo and building were very stuffy. There was a portable airconditioner that was helpful. Roof top deck view is great, but it is a small area.
The street the condo is located on is very loud as it leads to a highway. We had to leave the windows open for air, but the traffic was so loud! The condo would benefit from double pane windows.
If this is your first trip to Seattle, there are a lot of hills, so it is about 1/2 mile from Pike's and a mile from Seattle Center, but there are hills involved!
