The hotel has nice vibe but the hotel and rooms are not geared to families. We had a 3 generation small group. Our 2 qn room only had 1 night stand to share, no desk, no side chairs, nowhere to store luggage for 4. Really just the 2 beds to sleep and bathroom with your suitcases on the floor. The onsite restaurant shaker & spear had no kids menu or lighter senior sized items. The bar is right off the lobby and not welcome to families to sit in there. Elevator required a key card so the kids could not move around the hotel alone. There were only 2 bikes to borrow - not enough for a family. It was a very walkable location but I would not suggest this hotel to families. Definitely geared to couples and solo leisure travelers.

We walked everywhere, including: space needle, shopping downtown, Pikes Market, Pioneer Square. Like every Kimpton I’ve stated in, this hotel is eclectically decorated. The rooms are quite spacious. Happy hour with free drinks/wine each night. Really friendly staff. A great overall experience.

Quirky (and I mean that in a good way) and friendly boutique hotel with a great on-site restaurant. Had some A/C issue in our room that was quickly resolved. Loved that you can easily walk to the Pike Place Market and so many other shops and restaurants in downtown Seattle. I would not recommend having a car here -- overnight parking is expensive and the streets are narrow, packed, and a bit difficult to navigate in this part of town.

This is a quaint hotel with great bar and restaurant in a perfect location, near to all attractions. Rooms are generous and modern. Staff exceedingly helpful. It started a bit rocky with a terrible room facing a fire-well and machinery, but staff went out of their way to find a better room and move us with apologies. The attached restaurant is fantastic and always crowded so make reservations if you can. Fresh water all day, wine at 5 pm.

Location was great, very convenient location. Room was small but clean. Walls are thin. Overall great until we checked out.

After receiving final bill a small, additional charge showed up on my credit card activity. A new bill or notice was not sent with additional charges so I emailed to inquire. They responded that it was mini bar charges, we asked them to double check as we did not utilize any mini bar items. They said they would look into it and reverse the charges. Almost a month and a follow up email later and no more responses have been received and the charge has not been reversed.

It's a small thing but left a bad taste on the experience.
