We have eaten at Spinasse in the Capitol Hill neighborhood twice in the last two months and each time was thoroughly enjoyable. To start, we had the Antipasto Misto which was a taste of each of the appetizers. A great way to taste lots of their dishes. All of the pasta is homemade and I think we have tasted each of their pastas over two visits and have loved all of them. The lamb Agnolotti, which is a ravioli type pasta, is particularly good. Nice wine selection too. Highly recommend.

We were in Seattle for three evenings and we could have eaten here every night we would have. Food was fresh, fabulous and very thoughtfully prepared. Wine selection was amazing - especially if you like red wines which we do. Service was excellent too. This is the closest I have had to the food I ate in Italy. Amazing evening.

Mom and I went here for Bday. Great service. Food was excellent...Bit pricey, but what you get is FABULOUS! Cannot complain. Nice wine selection. House made Limoncello was very sweet...could be lemoniier....

The affectation of this small cozy restaurant 10 min cab from downtown is that all food and drink are authentic Piemontese. The menu is small but exquisite,4 primi, 4 secondi. House made pastas, indeed batches made while you watch the open kitchen, feature the Piemonte special tajarin 2 ways. These are a beehive mound of hair thin egg noodles sauced with butter, cheese and herbs or an intense ragu. We tried one of each. Our secondi were braised mixed meats wrapped in chard braised with an intense Barolo sauce. As predicted the wine list has only Piedmont bottlings,a wide selection of barbarescs, barolos, gattinara, Nebbiolo. We took a trip to Seattle to dine in Piemonte New World.

This restaurant specializes in the Piedmont experience. Each dish was perfectly prepared and very typical of the region. The waitress was a little annoying by trying to show off her (limited) wine knowledge, but aside from this Spinasse is a must for dining in Seattle. It is cheaper to eat here than getting the same (or lesser) experience in Italy!
