Ok this place was a little cheesy but really cool. I got to sit on Captain Kirks Starship chair!! A little of everything, from Wizard of Oz to Curt Cobain and Jimmy Hendricks. A must see!

This is an awesome museum! Tons of movie and music memorabilia - for both young and old. We saw the Marvel exhibit which was very cool. High recommend this museum if you are visiting Seattle.

In a unique building designed by Frank Gehry the displays are fascinating.....Horror movie items and themes in a dungeon like atmosphere, Star Trek items, grunge rock collections of costumes, instruments , music and artists, a music room that is interactive and just plain cool.....Not a place to miss for adults and kids ( not young kids)

The building is cool but there are several entrances and the gift shop area is open to the nonpaying public. As you wander, staff has to check that you have a sticker to go past various points. A more conventional design would probably have reduced staffing costs.

In the sound lab you can play instruments alone of in groups. It is nice but too many areas were "out of service for repairs." That was disappointing.

I like the old movie displays and the video interviews were great.

How can a museum which documents and exhibits Jimi
Hendrix, Pearl Jam & Nirvana, and the Marvel Universe
story be bad?

Well for one thing by having mood lighting that made it hard to read the captions on the displays.

I am glad to have gone but can't imagine going back
