My wife and I booked the Skagway Yukon Discovery Adventure tour for July 16,2024. This excursion did not disappoint. Our tour bus driver was "Brooke" and she was awesome. She is an experienced driver/tour guide and is well versed on the various sights in the area as well as the wildlife and points of interest. We enjoyed a scenic drive to the Yukon Territory and Carcross and had a very nice lunch at "Wild Adventure Yukon" and also viewed the Wildlife and Yukon Museum. We also enjoyed the stop in Carcross and my wife shopped briefly. While on the tour bus we had many opportunities to stop and take photographs at Emerald Lake, Bridal Veil Water Falls and other scenic spots. We also saw black bear while going to the Yukon Territory and again while returning to Skagway. We highly recommend this tour and our driver/tour guide "Brooke".

What an awesome experience with this tour company! Our driver Chad took care of us like we were royalty! We were picked up from our ship and taken into the center of Skagway to prep for our day! Then we were guided through some great sites of the Yukon along with a delicious lunch and a dog mushing experience! All the while we were attended to with utmost care! Sadly the weather was rainy and foggy but Chad was like a First Nations guide finding the spots to get the best views despite the poor conditions. He also managed to get us to the best spots before the rest of the tourists descended on those locations allowing for some private access to things! His safe driving through awful weather made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Really can't say enough about this tour company!

Excellent tour on 7/21/24 (yellow group 11:30, can’t remember drivers name). We saw beautiful waterfalls, drank from a natural spring, popped over to Canada and saw Skagway from a scenic view. Learned some history and had some laughs along the way!

It was enjoyable, views were mostly covered in clouds which I realise is uncontrollable. There was not enough time in an hour to eat, do the dog mushing, see the few puppies available, see the museum and have a chance to check out the shops. However everyone we encountered was kind, knowledgeable and helpful.

Review of: DIY Yukon Tour

We lucked out with the most beautiful, clear day into the Yukon Territory. We traveled with 4 Jeeps in our party and it was easy to follow along with the iPads provided. As others recommended, if you are on a cruise, de-board the boat as soon as you can to get in line to get your jeep. Once we checked in, there was a long wait. We were able to beat a lot of the bus tours and had many of the sites to ourselves. Make sure to leave time coming back to Alaska. Customs returning to the US was quick but we did wait about an hour in line to get into Canada in the morning. This was a great way to see the sights on your own. We took the top off the Jeep and had a blast!!
