Such a clean and quaint hotel. It has lovely air conditioning, nice soap and a water filter downstairs that you can fill your water bottles with. As far as the price compared to other hotels in the area...it felt like 4 star hotel with care to cleanliness.

Very happy with this middle class Hotel. Parking is tight all over this area. only $10 for guests to park per night here. It was $9 per hour on Ali'i Drive just down the hill. Free wifi, air conditioning, king sized bed and amenities were very good. Swimming pool was very nice.
The location is fantastic. Atlantis submarines just down the hill. Body Glove cruises down the hill at the pier/dock. Premium luau right next door. Great shoppes up and down Ali'i Drive for a couple of miles. State Park for snorkeling around mile marker 4.5 south. The royal Palace for $10 each was awe inspiring. The old 1838 church is very nice. The golf simulator across from the abc store across the street for golfers is $60 per hour. I did 18 holes in 51 minutes. Great middle class vacation at middle class prices here. Prime Rib King cut dinner for $29.95 with salad and potato was amazing at Pancho and Lefty's. Much more to do and see that was not said here. :)

Room Tip: We went for the King sized. Just ask. Very helpful and polite staff.

This was our second time staying at the hotel. The location is steps away from Ali’i Drive and 95% cheaper than the hotels in Waikoloa. Service from the get go was excellent. Definitely will be back. With its location to the King Kamehameha Hotel, it’s a pickup point for tours throughout the island.

Note - I'm actually a resident of the area, decided to stay there overnight one weekend.

It's one of the older hotels, but the room was clean, seemed well maintained and the price was right.

Check in was easy, and there was a surprising number of security guards given the size of the building. Still good to know that they're keeping an eye on things given the number of break ins in the area recently.

Anyone looking to save some money on food should avoid eating along/around Ali'i Drive. The ambiance is kinda cool, but none of the restaurants down there are particularly good IMHO.

Room was nice and clean with great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants on Alii drive. All rooms have balcony with some view. The location of this hotel does not provide any ocean view.
Get a room with pool view, you can see ocean at distance from the balcony.
