we stood in a long, hot line, but it was well worth it. the frozen coffee wasn't too frozen, but that wasn't the reason we went. the beignets were perfect.

My family and I made it a priority to stop by here and get some beignets. As usual, it was amazing. We got the to go order since we wanted to walk around Jackson square and sit under the trees. You could also go up the stairs and enjoy the river view. Getting a table is a nightmare, however that is doable too.

Service was great but beignets was terrible!!! We went to New Orleans so many times and every time we stopped at Cafe Du Monde the beignet is getting worst!!! But hey hot water costs $3!!!

Our visitor friend wanted to go, so we went to this hot, crowded open air “coffee” shop. The three of us sat at a tiny round table. I had the black coffee (can’t stand the addition of scalded milk), guest and spouse had the Café au lait. We shared an order of Beignets, the official doughnut of Louisiana. Service, with a smile, was slow as expected.
Bottom line: nothing spectacular. Avoid when the temperature hovers around 90...........

This is a must when visiting New Orleans! Very busy but we got our beignets to go and it only took a few minutes.
