We had an amazing and unbelievable stay at Prana Dewi resort, which is ten minutes away by scooter from the beautifull Pura Luhur Batukau. We really got the chance to stay somewhere where you can reconnect with mother nature.
The little cottages where we slept are surrounded by nature. You are basically staying in a paradise garden. The bathrooms are outside the rooms so you can take a hot shower while looking at the sky above you. And don't worry, no one can see you as walls are protecting the shower :).
The furnitures are all in wood. It strengthens your feeling to be in harmony with the environment.
The food they serve at the beautifull common room is very tasty and authentic (and healthy!).
The resort also proposes to do trekkings in the suroundings. We did the "hot spring waterfalls" trekking and we had a blast!
Me and my boyfriend were guided by a very friendly guy called Kadek (not sure if I spelled it good... sorry!) and He showed us amazing places in Bali that we could not discover by ourselves. We walked in the rice terrases, admired amazing views, saw the rivers, said hello to locals... We really advise it to you. It is one of our best memories of bali so far. You really go on an adventure.
There is no Wi-Fi in Prana Dewi. Some people may not like it.
