We enjoyed our stay at Hanging Gardens, soaking in the view and enjoying the tranquility and spending quality time together. Will we visit again? We will, only if the resort have gone through a major facelift. In my opinion, it is good for a visit, but a stay as the villa is too dated, with old furniture, stained walls and dirty tubs.
We did enjoy having breakfast at the restaurant with an awesome view and close to the nature, but the stay in the villa was too average and not worth the hype.
We stayed in a family villa, it was very big and spacious, however it is poorly lit. The lights down the staircase is dim, which can be dangerous.
Away from the busyness of Ubud/Kuta.
The view and tranquility is worth a visit.
Wifi connectivity is good.
Drinks at the bar is reasonable.
The mattress are very comfortable and in good condition.
Villa 42 is dated, much upgrading and maintenance is required.
The floor on the upper level is very slippery.
The villa plunge pool is dirty.
Limited dining options. (We travelled 40mins to Ubud for dinner)
The day beds at the poolside are filthy, stains on every one of them, quite a turnoff.
Poor turndown service.More
