We spent a day here and still didn't have time to see all the different types of crafts. They have everything imaginable and you can watch the artist ply their trade.

Having travelled around the US and England, our culture is loosing the hands on talent of our heritage; our
grandparents used what they had to make the things needed, and raised a large portion of the foods. The Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community is an assemblage of talented Arts & Crafts persons who have practiced and sell the hand crafted items that make life interesting and decorative. A must visit when in the Smokies.

I've been to the Smokies more than I can count and this is hands down one of my favorite places to visit. Its a nice little loop of shops and crafts. Its off the beaten path though so its not something you will see on the main strips. If your looking for something different and something more local this is the place to go.
