The cabin was literally at the top of the mountain and only took about 12-15 minutes to get to the parkway in Pigeon Forge. The mountain is very steep and winds around frequently but was no problem if you go slow. The view was well worth it. The cabin was beautifully done and was cozy. The hot tub was nice and had a privacy wall but it leans slightly away from the house which drips water and has to be refilled during the visit. The game room was great for our kids ages 10 and 12. We had basketball and pool playoffs. There was a TV in every room so when it got late and you wanted to wind down you could watch your favorite show. The kitchen was full of supplies and everything we needed. Remember to bring your own towels for the hot tub. I did not see that in the welcome packet and we had to launder our towels several times while we were there. Thankfully, there is a washer and dryer in the cabin (bring washing detergent if you are going to be there long or bring hot tub towels). Overall, the cabin was peaceful with great views and comfortable beds.
The cabin alone was awesome. The view, games, and hot tub were perfect for our family. The location was great because it put you right in the middle to get to both Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. The road to get to the cabin is a little crazy because it's one lane but other than that i have no complaints. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away for a week or weekend!
