I don't know if True North is a calm and quiet cafe everyday, or if I just happened to hit it at the right time, but I really enjoyed the chill atmosphere and the rare silence I found between its walls adorned in local art. Fellow patrons appeared to be lost in work - whether that be laptop or book based, but I have to warn you, the wifi was incredibly slow. Ample seating and accessible outlets mean one can sit here and work for awhile, without feeling rushed to move on. The coffee is decent, and the scones are delish, yet the food offerings are slim.
