We decided to dine here as we had gone to a show at BAM and it as nearby. Things started off well then went downhill. Our appetizers were decent, I had baked clams and my wife chose the burrata. The entrees however were quite poor. My steak was tough and bland and the special my wife had was so/so. The server was equally disappointing.

This restaurant is located very close to LIU campus and we went there for lunch and a short business meeting. The staff are very welcoming and they didn't mind that we sat and chatted over coffee. Their salads are very tasty as are their panini sandwiches. Fun to also watch the pedestrian traffic while you eat.

It is best to have a reservation here on a Friday night. The place was packed, and the noise level high. The interior is cozy, with a rugged brick wall.

I enjoyed pork medallions with a pretty good, inexpensive Malbec. The wine list is rather limited, but diverse in origins and varietals. Panna cotta and a glass of limoncello rounded off a good meal.

Service was swift and friendly.

Excellent choice for BAM goers before or after performance. Lovely atmosphere and staff are congenial and not pushy. We're repeat going and wouldn't hesitate to recommend

And introducing friends to this gem in Brooklyn. We have been to several other Italian restaurants in downtown Brooklyn but whenever we feel for a sumptious Italian meal in a relaxed atmosphere we end up here. This was with a visitor from overseas and her sister who lives in Brooklyn. It was a very chilly day and the split peas soup hit the spot as a starter. The four of us enjoyed our meals. The server brought both the brunch & the regular menus so there was wide choice.

Always a pleasurable meal and attentive staff. Thanks again.

Thank Judith C
