Out on the point, outstanding views and exhibits and a great museum make this a super day out. $5 to get in is well worth it. You will want to take time to explore

We love to walk around in the old battle relics and think about how much things have changed since it was built. Wish there was more information there to read about the Fort.

We have been to Fort Stevens twice. It is a great place to camp. The campground is very clean. The bike paths all over the park are very nice. Beach access from the park as well. As for the museum it was very informative. Both the tour of the underground battery and the truck tour are informative. We will return again to camp.

We only spent one night here but had a great time camping in one of their cabins. The following morning we rented bikes from the Park and rode down to the wreck of the Peter Iredale and then a further four miles along the beach, it was low tide so a broad swath of hard sand. Then across to the fort which guarded the Columbia River entrance. The fort is interesting with some guns and underground areas to explore. The bike trails are well laid and marked; cycling even on 'coaster' bikes was great fun.
