We stayed at Cricket House for Remembrance Day for 9 years and at other times with another couple - fortunately very good friends. There is not much privacy, as the first floor bedroom has only a curtain over the doorway and the second floor bedroom has a wide entrance at the top of the stairs with only a folding screen that does not cover the entire area and any noise from upstairs is easily heard downstairs. As you can see in the pictures of the downstairs bedroom, there are no comfortable chairs (a padded bench at the end of the bed)/the tv is on the left wall and the bed in the center faces the closet so there is no way to watch the tv unless you lie sideways on the bed. Kitchen is a little awkward for four, but has everything you need for cooking. Lovely courtyard, back porch and very convenient to downtown and part of the battlefield. Thus said, it would be great for a family, although not ADA friendly at all. It is under new management since we have stayed there, but the pictures seem to be new, so my comments should still be accurate.
