We were looking for someplace for our 7 & 9 year old to learn about the civil war in a way that would be interesting. This fit the bill. The tour of the house helped the kids understand how it was to live in the time period and life during the war. They enjoyed the walk and seeing how the family lived. The tour guide did a nice job of explaining how the family lived and her story tied well into the history of the area.
I would highly recommend this for people with kids and learning about life during the war.
